IS IT SPRING YET?
We sat down with Laurence G. Yang - Editor and Chief
of Runway Weekly and asked her what's her take on Spring 2011 and she replied:
It's here! It's very early to talk about next season as it's still winter, but with fashion you always have to think ahead. Lead designers are predicting a warm, enchanting, and polychromous spring.
OK - so I noticed that Spring 2011 is all about comfort, laid-back styles, and relaxation. This is why many designers came out with loose clothes, breezy fabrics and comfy shoes but REALLY? Custo Barcelona spring.2011
Not only has color made a huge comeback, but so have wacky colorful neon intense hues and wild exotic prints from Custo Barcelona's collection. Farah Angsana Spring 2011
Fashion Week has given us a lot to look forward to. One show that totally took my breath away was Farah Angsana's. Her line makes me wish everyday was a cocktail party. Farah seems to be on a row with these dresses. Green, turquoise, pale gold and antique nude tones… Her Indonesian Goddess inspired gowns were filled with impeccable detail using her elegant signature gold and jewel toned pieces. This Spring 2011 collection was truly lovely and should be on every girly girl's wish list! Loved this collection!
P.S. Is it Spring Yet?
Cheers!
